Target includes IT and Database Managers for medium to large organisations which have already implemented Progress Software applications at some stage.

Prospects were sent a hard copy DM piece including CD-ROM to offer two services from Progress Professional Services - i) System Health Check and; ii) Database Tune. Due to the prospects already being Progress customers and the opportunities available, an Executive Specialist telemarketer was employed.

Results

Direct Response 40%

While the expected result was a 5% response, 40% of contacts responded by making an appointment for either or both services.
